Sterling Farms Women’s Golf Club is home to women who are golf enthusiasts and enjoy the opportunity to tee up friendship with the challenge of tournament play. Many of our members are proud to represent our club in tournaments throughout the region. We field a pretty strong team when we take our act on the road!

We have two playing groups – eighteen-holes and nine-holes. Tournaments for the eighteen-hole group are held on Tuesday mornings and weekends. The nine-hole group competes on Tuesday mornings only and plays off the back nine.  We also have a handicap-only option for those just seeking a handicap and not interested in participating in club tournaments.

Benefits of being a full member include:

• An official United States Golf Association Handicap Index -– updated every two weeks in season.
   
• Participation in weekly club tournaments and special club events.  Tournaments are held on Tuesday mornings for 9-holers.  18-holers can choose to play any of 3 different days: Tuesday mornings, Saturdays, or Sundays.  Choose to compete on whichever day works best for your schedule.
   
• Chance at more than $5000 in prizes awarded annually through tournaments and special club functions!
  
• Dedicated tee times blocked out for Tuesday morning play.
  

• The opportunity (with modest additional dues) to participate in statewide and regional competitions run by the Southern New England Women's Golf Association (SNEWGA).  SNEWGA runs both individual and team competitions. (For more information, go to www.snewga.org.)
   

• The chance to sharpen your game and meet new friends, as well as stay connected with old ones.

Requirements of full membership:

• Women seventeen years or older.
   
• Handicap levels of up to 36 (33.2 index) for 18 holes and 32 (29.1 index) for 9 holes.
