17** Opening Scramble 9- & 18-Holers
Charity Tournament
Team score - no handicap. This is a team event with foursomes (or threesomes if
there are not enough people to make up foursomes). Each player hits a drive.
Select the best drive and mark it. Each hit second shot from this position.
Select the best second shot and mark it. Continue in this way until the ball is
holed out. There is only one score for the foursome.
24, 28, 29 Stroke Play
Full handicap, Gross & Net

Full HCP stroke play; eight lowest net qualify.

Individual play - one-half handicap, No flights.
Net score on just the odd-numbered holes determines the winners. Actual score is
posted hole by hole on tournament card. Deduct one-half handicap from gross
score of odd holes on tournament sheet. Do not round handicap. (For example, if
handicap is 23 deduct 11.5 from score.)

Each player plays her own ball. Record your actual score on your scorecard.
Gross & net. Prior to scoring, the scorer will choose nine holes on which to
calculate the tournament score. The holes will be selected as follows:
Three par 3's, Three par 4's , Three par 5's.
Total minus half your handicap determines your tournament score.
JULY

10, 14, 15 Hate ‘em
Full handicap. Before teeing off, select one par 3, one par 4, and one par 5
that you "hate" and record a par on the scorecard. Circle the selected holes on
the scorecard. Record your actual scores as you play with the exception of the
hated holes, which will show a par. Note: The "hated" holes will not be used in
the event of a tie.
17, 21, 22 Stableford
Mark scorecard with strokes as they fall, calculate score with points as follows
for net results:
Bogey 1 pt, Par 2 pts, Birdie 3 pts, Eagle 4 pts.

Round 1 is Thursday, Aug. 23 at Hubbard Heights, and round 2 is Tuesday, Aug. 28
at Sterling Farms. No flights – 95% handicap.

score is posted on the tournament sheet. Enter your current handicap on the
tournament sheet to show which flight you are playing in.
OCTOBER
2, 6, 7 Nassau
This is played as if it were three separate contests: front nine, back nine and
total 18. Actual score is posted hole by hole on tournament card. Deduct
one-half your handicap from gross front nine score and record it. Deduct
one-half your handicap from gross back nine score and record it. Total your net
front and back to determine net score for total 18. Do not round your handicap.
For example, if handicap is 23 deduct 11.5 from front and back gross scores.
Prizes will be awarded to the two lowest front nine scores, the two lowest back
nine scores, and the two lowest total 18 scores. Each player will be eligible
for only one prize.
9, 13, 14 Best Two Balls of Four
Any two scores for each hole. Gross & net. 95% handicap.
